If you are biking or walking, there is a lovely dune area approximately 1.5 km away.  Bikers will find Noordwijk and Wassenaar through the dunes only a short distance away.  With a car Leiden, The Hague and Delft are easily accessible (15, 30 and 40 minutes).
Renters are welcome to park two bikes and store some beach supplies in the bike shed.  Paid parking is possible in front of the apartment and in several underground parking garages close by.  Bus stops are easily accessed around the corner.
